memories...
my grandfather died a few days ago. I drove all the way home from Minnesota to go to the funeral and the family gathering. Needless to say, it was very difficult. I miss him a lot, and it was hard to watch my grandmother although she was incredibly strong. I can't imagine losing someone after 64 years of marriage. Heartbreaking.
I'm just kind of sad right now, but going back to Eau Claire tonight will be wondeful I'm sure. See you all soon.

I said this on your "other" blog, but I'm sorry about your grandfather. I know my grandma was crushed when my grandpa died. It was tough.

Hey Rach. Sorry to hear about your grandpa. If I was next to you I would give you a big hug...but since I am many hours away a long distance hug will have to do. Keep your chin up and see you soon :)
