a glimpse into the mind of a crazy...

According to some, all women are crazy. If this is the case, then enjoy looking into the mind of one. :P

I wish I could have been there...

I don't think anyone realizes how much I regret not going to Ireland. It looked like an absolutely AMAZING trip, and I've only seen a few photos so far! It was great to visit Ashley too though. Just a different type of trip.

Argh.

On a lighter note, I can't WAIT to get back to EC tomorrow...its going to be awesome. My mom bought me THREE formal dresses in Washington. One is a gold satin floor length formal for Viennese Ball in April, and the other two are short black formals for my recitals and nice dinners out. :)

Spring Break...

I'm here in Washington State with my sister Ashley, my mom and Ashley's husband James. So far its been an ok trip...however, I'm really having trouble practicing. I haven't seriously played trombone in like 5 days. :/ Oh well...I guess being here with Ash is much more important than trombone...I just have been working so hard on it.

Ashley and James' house is really nice, although we had lots of clean up to do when we got here. Ash has been doing her chemo treatments so she hasn't had any time to clean up the house, and I think that James has been working quite a bit. The pets are adorable...Abby and Myah are dogs, and Dalphie is the kitty. Mom LOVES Abby, and spends hours every day brushing her and Myah. Its adorable. Otherwise not a whole lot has been going on. Just getting some R & R.
Just got an email from the University...sounds like a Junior at EC died in a car accident yesterday. Although I didn't know the guy, its still sad to think that someone my age is gone forever. Kind of makes you think...

Anyways, I can't wait until the band gets back from Ireland; I'm kind of lonely right now. Its great seeing my sister again though. :)

Wind Symphony Tour

It was great. Much fun was had, and since Colin wasn't there I wasn't miserable the whole time from being tormented!!! Went swimming, joked around with Crowell and Heidel, listened to Vern make an amazingly perfect "Chester" and played really well most of the time.

Favorite quote: (although it was a bit awkward the way he asked it)

"So what is it like to wear high heels?"
-Dr. Heidel

It was a great tour.
