a glimpse into the mind of a crazy...

According to some, all women are crazy. If this is the case, then enjoy looking into the mind of one. :P

swingin on the fences

PMA had their Big Band Dance last night. It was almost as fun as Viennese Ball...minus the waltzes. The band was really good...and played some of my favorites: Sing Sing Sing and April in Paris. The boyfriend got me a beer thanks to Benny. ;) Spent the whole evening dancing with Monica, Kailyn and Heather...Heather doesn't usually like to dance, but she did a hell of a job. :)

So that was fun.

Soon I get to go home. I don't think that the new trombone thing is going to happen until I get home this summer. The guy hasn't called me back and I'm getting frustrated. I have the money sitting at home and said I was all ready to purchase the horn, and now they are taking their merry little time getting it in. Just a little pissed off sorry. I guess it'll just make it that much more exciting when I actually get the horn. So thats a good way to think about it.

Time to get up and dressed and attend the Symphony Band. Mr.Gilliland is soloing, so that should be good, I'm excited. :)

Rachel

love is in the air...

Lots of stuff going on...post Vball has been draining. Spent a few hours in Heathers room tonight just watching tv, and then hung out until now. I'm pretty tired....so its about time to go to bed. Very interesting day to say the least. :) Stuff is great...as always. Can't wait for Saturday night...it's the dance at Higherground and then finally some boyfriend time. :P
Hopefully the dance will be some quality girl time as well. :D Love you ladies...(and love you too :)

cherry cheesecake

man oh man am I tired. Hope its not mono....I've been sleeping wayyyyy too much. Gotta make some more time for trombone and hanging w/friends. All in good time I suppose. Years almost done though...kind of scary to think that I'll be a sophomore next year. Oh well...a few more great events yet to happen, but thats it for the year. Sweet. :)

Hmmm....not much else going on...planning my sophomore recital. It'll be really fun, I'm learning some tough pieces...Blue Bells of Scotland, Weber Romance, Elegy for Mippy, and then one more...probably the other really hard one he was talking about. So I'm looking forward to pushing myself hard. :D

Love you all,

-Rachel

oooh snap.

hey all. In case you haven't noticed, I switched blogs. Excitement. :P Life is good...I'll just keep this post short. As you read in my other blog, V-ball was fantastic, what a great time. Now I'm getting ready for the end of the year...geez its practically here.

Can't wait for Valleyfair this summer and making lots of money so I can come back to school here next fall. :) Recital plans are underway, you all better come!!!

Love,
Rachel
